The bus schedule can be found on the Yarona App, at the kiosk and at every bus station

    

    2.  What are the bus fares?

There will be a flat rate and the fares will be reviewed every financial year.


3.    Can I get a refund please?

        Unfortunately not. One you have successfully topped up, the money is converted into fare

You can check your balance on the Yarona App,  kiosk or agent


  1. Can more than one person use the card?

        Only one person can use the mobility card at a time


  1. Can I pay for more than one person to get onto the bus?

        No. You can only pay for yourself upon entering the bus

        All transaction history can be checked at the kiosk and on the Yarona App


  1. Can you change your customer details?

    Yes. Customer details can be edited at the kiosk and on the Yarona App

You can top up at any kiosk, agent and on the Yarona App


  1. Why do you need my ID number?

        For positive identification to verify that the mobility card belongs to you and to retrieve the card details when replacing it

 All bus schedules are available on the Yarona Website


  1. Why can I only update my details at the kiosk or on the Mobile App?

        To ensure that the information that is being updated belongs to the wallet/account holder

  1. Who can I talk to so that I can add my children to the wallet/card/biometrics?

        You can visit any of our kiosks to add your children


  1. If I don’t want to register can I still get on the bus?

        Yes. You can buy an unregistered, anonymous card from your nearest kiosk or Yarona registered spaza shop


  1. What happens if I don’t register and I lose my card with money on the card?

        Unfortunately you lose all the money that you have loaded on your card. This is why we encourage commuters to register


  1. From what age do kids start paying?

From the age of 3 years old children need to pay to ride on the bus


  1. Do pensioners get a discount?

Yes. It is called a concession. Information is available on the Yarona website


  1. Do scholars pay the full price?

        No, there will be a concession for scholars


  1. Can I get on the bus when I don’t have money in my account, and top up at the next station where the kiosk is?

        Unfortunately not. Its is best that you top up before needing to take a ride on the bus.

  1. Why should I buy a new card for a friend that is only visiting me for a few days?

Every commuter needs a card to ride on the bus. They can buy a card but need not register to ride on the bus


  1. What time is the last bus?

        A bus schedule will be available at the bus stations, the kiosk and on the Yarona App / 19:30


  1. Why was the bus late?

        Due to a small issue at the bus depot, the bus was unfortunately late. We apologize for any inconvenience caused


  1. I lost my card on my way to the bus and I need to get to work and my fingerprints are not registered.

Please go to the closest Yarona registered spaza shop or the Yarona kiosk to purchase a new mobility card. You can only block a mobility card at the Yarona kiosk.


  1. Why do I need to register mobility cards for all my children?

    Every person needs a card, including children.
